Eurogamer giving Gears of War 8/10 leading to 800 comments on a game review comment threat is as beautiful a commingling of the 2 definitions of furore as can be, because geeky knickers get twisted tighter than any other pants known to man.

Furore, n – 1. an interest followed with exaggerated zeal, 2. a sudden outburst (as of protest)
